Do you think that the Sabres fell in the standings in 2007-08 because Sabretooth stopped rappelling down from the rafters and started simply skating around the ice waving a flag? I do.  Maybe it had nothing to do with the loss of Briere and Drury.  Do you think Thomas Vanek started off the season in a slump because he had a newborn baby at home and probably never got any sleep?  I do.  Maybe it wasn’t the huge contact after all.  Do you think that the Kiss Camera is overkill and that we need to hear more of the old style Sabre Dance played at the HSBC Arena?  I do.  Do  you think that the Sabres’ Captain needs to start high-fiving the players as they come off the ice at the end of each game and stop dumping that job off on Sabretooth?  I do.  After all…he’s got enough to do!  We will be pondering these and other fine points of the game as we blog our way through the 2008-2009 season!  Go Sabres!  Allez les Sabres!

Welcome to our site and for all of your French Canadian readers…Bienvenue et Allez les Sabres!  We are hoping to have fun…be silly…and talk about the aspects of the game that are of interest to us..which will be interesting as we are former socccer players and band nerds.  We don’t want to date ourselves…but we did go to the old Aud and watch the French Connection LIVE!!!  and Gilbert Perreault was our HERO!!!  Go Sabres!!!   Di
